• Pupils Perform at St David's Centre!

  Kinetic Arts workshops take place every Friday for all children led by Kieron. As a result of this work, pupils will perform in a very special performance on the stage in St David's Hall! We are very excited! Parents and Carers can buy tickets by calling St David's Hall on 02920 878444. Further details will be sent nearer the time.

  Children will need to be collected at 3.30pm and brought back to school for the film and then collected at 6.00pm prompt.

  Payment will be on parent by the end of today £4.50p

  ST DAVIDS HOMEWORK OVER THE HALF TERM...

  St Gladys - create the Welsh dragon in any way they wish - painting, junk modelling, lego, clay etc
  St Cadoc- design a new rugby kit for the Welsh rugby team
  St David - a piece of artwork showing 'why do I love Wales'
  St Teilo - create a shield showing the wonders of Wales 
  St Tathan - an acrostic poem titled 'Wonderful Wales'

  All entries to be brought back into school on the Tuesday 28th February.

• Cafod Turkey-Syria Appeal

  Dear Parents and Carers, 

  On Friday 17th February, we will be having a non-uniform day in aid of those who have been affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria. 

  We will gather in prayer, asking the Lord to bring them comfort, strength and renewed hope. 

  Children are invited to bring a donation to school. All proceeds will be donated to the CAFOD Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal. 

  Thank you for your continued support.

• Strike action - 2nd March 2023

  Dear Parent / Carers

   

  As you will be aware, the NEU (National Education Union) will be taking strike action on Thursday 2^nd March 2023

   

  In order to fully consider the implications of industrial action in relation to the operation of our school I have carried out a thorough whole school risk assessment based on the numbers of staff anticipated to take part in the strike.

   

  Please note the following information as a direct outcome of the school risk assessment:

  It is anticipated that as result of the risk assessment that school will be closed to all pupils on Thursday 2^nd March 2023.

  If you have any questions regarding the closure please contact the school office.

  Thank you so very much for your generosity and support for our FUN FRIDAY last week. Working together, we raised a total of £170! Wow! An incredible amount that will be used for resources for our new Nurture room! I will ask Miss Croll to share photos on twitter so you can all see what your support has created!   Diolch yn fawr! 

• DRESS TO IMPRESS - Friday 27th January 2023

  On Friday 27th January, we are inviting all pupils to DRESS TO IMPRESS!   This is a fundraiser for CHILDREN'S MENTAL HEALTH WEEK. This is an opportunity to shine a light on and raise awareness for pupils' mental health and well-being. Please support us by allowing your child to dress in a way that matters to them and if you are able, to donate £2 for this charity - payable via Parent Pay. Diolch for all of your support! 

• E-Safety Assembly for Parents and Carers - 3pm Tuesday 24th January

  Parents and Carers are invited to come to school to hear information about how to keep your child safe online. This is such an important issue and we all want to make sure the pupils are using the internet safely! Please come to school for 3pm. There will be time to ask questions.
