    Tue 22 Jun 2021

    Good afternoon

We just wanted to let you know that we are offering on-road National Standard Cycle Training courses (Level 2) during the Summer Holidays.  We will be running 6 courses with a total of 60 places available.

Courses will run for 4 days and are being carried out on the following dates:

    Monday 26th July-Thursday 29th July

    Monday 2nd August-Thursday 5th August

    Monday 9th August-Thursday 12th August

Pupils who wish to attend this course must be aged 9 and over, have access to a bike and helmet and be able to ride and control their bike.

This course is free for any child who lives in Cardiff or attends a Cardiff school.

Please feel free to inform your parents/carers about these courses.

If they wish to enquire or book a place on the courses then they will need to email RSO1@cardiff.gov.uk

For High School pupils, if pupils achieve level 2 at the end of the course they can also attend a level 3 course.  These courses can be arranged during the summer after they have attended the level 2 course.

    These courses are also free.

We are unable to run our Learn to Ride courses this summer.

    Kind regards

    The Road Safety Team
