At St Cuthbert’s we encourage engagement in environmental and sustainable development issues, empowering young people to make positive changes within our school and community, fostering environmental awareness and building essential skills.

As part of our Pupil Voice we have a very active Eco Group who contribute to the school’s ESDGC programme.

 Our newly formed Green Team for 2025-2026 have already been busy working away to ensure we have an Eco-friendly environment. We have set ourselves with the aim of achieving our bronze and silver Eco-schools awards and are working hard to make those goals come true. 

So far this term we have started our new Eco action plan and have begun work on updating our environmental review. 

We will soon be working on our Eco code and sharing this with everyone!
