Welcome back everyone! 

I hope everyone had a fantastic summer break.  I am Mrs Lewis and I will be teaching PPA this year in Dosbarth St David, Dosbarth St Teilo and Dosbarth St Tathan! You might also see me pop into Dosbarth St Cadoc or Dosbarth St Gladys for an afternoon of activities. 

This half term in each class we will be covering: 

Dosbarth St David: 

Science - Why did Icarus fall from the sky? 

We will be learning about this tale and considering the science behind Icarus' famous wings. 

ICT - We will be looking at key ICT skills and learning how to use our HWB accounts to produce and save work. We will be aiming to use these skills to develop projects about a Welsh castle. 

Dosbarth St Teilo: 

Science - How far can sound travel? 

We will be linking our science work this half term to air sirens and considering how far sound can travel through a fun and exciting investigation. 

ICT -  This half term we will be developing our coding skills and creating our own air raid sirens using microbits. 

Dosbarth St Tathan:

Science - Within our science sessions we will be considering how inheritance works. 

ICT - This term we will be planning and developing our own films based on a campaign to improve our local area. We will be developing and working on our film skills throughout the project as well as developing surveys and collecting data.
