I like reading and I really like sharing stories with my class. It is my favourite time of day.

Hinduism Workshop

We enjoyed a Hinduism workshop to start off our Faith Week exploring what it is like to be a Hindu.  Have a look at our pictures!

Our final Spring Term Newsletter focuses on Religion.

We have spent time this Lent reflecting on Jesus and his disciples, and the events that led up to Jesus's crucifixion.  

From everyone in Dosbarth St Cadoc, have a Happy Easter!

In Religion we have been learning about mercy and forgiveness.  A group of pupils chose to create a dance using the Kyrie Eleison.  They worked with Mrs Gibbs to create this beautiful piece of dance.

We are scientists!

This term we are focussing on habitats and how animals use those habitats.  We have looked at camouflage, habitat destruction and the best conditions for grass to grow.

We have recorded our information in graphs and tables.

We are looking forward to National Science Week!

We have been exploring the Bay but from the viewpoint of a tourist.  We have been very busy exploring the Bay.

We have followed the Mermaid Quay Art Trail and spotted lots of sculptures that we had seen before but didn't know anything about.  We also found some hidden art pieces.

We have been looking at maps and understanding how to read them and following a key.

We have been learning about Human Dignity and The Common Good as part of our social teaching.  Have a look at the newsletter to see some examples of our work.

We have started the Spring Term and are already busy, busy, busy!

November Highlights.

We have learnt so much in November and the month is not finished yet!

Here are our highlights so far.

Here is our topic newsletter.  This half term we have been learning about the Stuarts.  We have investigated how they lived, what they wore, what their houses were like and what they ate.  We looked at portraits of Stuart people and made our own.  

October is Black History Month.  In our we have been learning about Rosa Parks.  We thought how brave and strong Rosa was when she said "No!" to the man on the bus.  Have a look at our newsletter to see some of our work.

October is the month of the Holy Rosary.

In school we are learning how to pray the Rosary.
