Y6 Dosbarth St Tathan

 

I am Mrs Bishop. I teach Dosbarth St Tathan and all of the lovely year 6's. 

My favourite things to do are reading and spending time with my 2 very naughty bulldogs. 

My favourite subjects to teach are history, RE and PE. 

I love working at St Cuthbert’s as we have such lovely children who are always eager to learn. 

We have been investigating different insurances for Money Week.

We invented our own insurance to cover all sorts of precious items including reptiles!

We have been looking at Victorian schools. We compared Victorian schools to our school. Things are very different these days!

 

We wrote prayers to thank God for our family. Family is so important to us!

We have completed our RE unit on marriage. We learnt about a marriage ceremony and the commitment a marriage involves. We learnt about the promises a couple makes to one another.

The results are in from Dosbarth St Tathan! 
Congratulations to these pupils who will be representing their class this year- Jeremiah,Billy and Victoria. I’m so very proud of these children.

Calling all Year 6 pupils!You’re about to be transported back to 1939. War has broken out in the docks  and you’re about to be evacuated to the countryside.Join me Monday to investigate further!

All pupils are invited to dress up as the children would have in 1939. You can use Google for ideas!
